I have been practicing T'ai Chi Ch'uan for 20 years, and making my living as a
Tai Chi instructor for the last 10 years. I was trained at Kai Ying Tung's
academy of T'ai Chi Ch'uan for 17 years. I have worked for 10 years in the Rec
Parks system in Los Angeles, and also a four year term working in the Los
Angeles Adult Schools.
I enjoy teaching Tai Chi, and it has helped me to develop patience and
discipline. I teach mostly beginning classes, because students are beginners for
the first five years. Beginning classes include many repetitions of the basics,
slow movements and still postures, also fast set training.
I do offer more advanced training for those who are ready for it. This includes
weapons training, knife and sword, martial arts application, and push hands.
In the summer of 2011, I joined the Dr. Kataria School of Laughter Yoga, being
trained as a Laughter Yoga Leader. That same summer, I started my first
laughter club. In 2012, I was trained as a Laughter Yoga Teacher. This means I
can give Leadership trainings, teach people how to run laughter clubs and
laughter sessions, and give public awareness seminars about Laughter Yoga.
